Alberta band Ghostkeeper released their first album debuting in 2008 titled Children of the Great Northern Muskeg to their 2022 release Multidimensional Culture nominated for the 2023 Polaris Music Prize, Ghostkeeper is a name familiar to fans of independent artists.
Métis songwriter and founder of Ghostkeeper Band Shane Ghostkeeper released his debut solo album in July of 2023 titled Stories of my People.
Each of the songs share the stories of growing up in the various communities of Northern Alberta and the stories of the Alberta Métis.
