Ava Rose Johnson joins CUZIN mornings

Nashville Recording Artist, Oklahoma Osage and Cherokee Native, 16 year old, powerful singer-songwriter, Ava Rose Johnson made history in 2019 as the youngest to ever win a Native American Music Award. Winning “Best Independent Recording by a New Artist” for “Heaven’s Window”, co written with Billy Dawson, Lainey Edwards and Sean Fuller (former drummer for Florida Georgia Line).

At the 20th Annual Native American Music Awards in November 2022, Ava Rose was awarded “Best Female Artist of the Year”. She is the youngest to win that award.

Ava joined CUZIN mornings to discuss her quick rise in the scene and her plans for 2024.
