The Supporting Indigenous Language Conference is underway at the Rivercree Resort & Casino in Edmonton, Alberta.
The theme of the two day conference is “Calling in Language Warriors from the Four Directions” and is a gathering for Indigenous Language Champions, Speakers, Learners and Language Advocates.
CFWE’s Bill Leblanc is at the conference and spoke with Keynote speaker Dr Leroy Little Bear, from the Kanai Nation in Southern Alberta
